It's almost splashdown time,

or depending on when you're listening, maybe it's already happened, and Washington states getting in on the Artemis II action. Washington Senator Maria Cantwell joined members of Congress

in a live Q&A with NASA's in-flight astronauts this week. K&KX's Anna Marie Yanny has more.

The astronauts are on their way back to Earth after a historic trip around the moon.

Kant well noted their spacecraft thrusters were made in Washington State. And then she asked this

question. What are we going to learn from the

human eye that the moon rovers couldn't tell us? The astronauts floated a weightless microphone to

pilot Victor Glover to answer Cantwell's question. I think a rover can collect data a lot slower,

but the human's going to be able to do it much faster.

But then they're also going to come back and tell you how it feels.

The astronauts are due to return in a planned water landing off the coast of San Diego this evening.
