We do begin, though, with the storms taking aim on both coast. There's that relentless rain in California, a powerful winter storm sweeping east right now,

just as so many are traveling home from the holidays all across the country.

And then if you look here in the New York area, the Lincoln Tunnel, so many in New York City expected to drive today. We have team coverage from coast to coast. And we're going to start in the air with Molongi. He's at Reagan National Airport outside of D.C. Mola, good morning to you.

Well, yeah, hey, good morning, Will. Lines starting to pick up here at Reagan National Airport,

and really across the country. But, you know, this is just a fraction of what we expect to see

throughout the day to day. This, as you mentioned, as rain continues to pound the West Coast,

and as a winter storm moves into the northeast, that's expecting to create nearly impossible

travel conditions through tonight.

This morning, wild weather impacting holiday travel on both coasts, bringing ice and snow and snarling

plans for millions of Americans. Communities in Nevada waking up to a winter wonderland, snow

falling across the Sierra Mountain region.

Numerous cars ending up on the side of the roads as they tried to navigate the conditions along Donner Pass.

Clows out working to try to keep roads clear after more than two feet of snow falling in the Lake Tahoe region.

Winds gusting up to 100 miles per hour.

Now a powerful new snow system taking aim
