To be human is to be embedded in language, and that language is made up of words, and

thus words really matter.

Miriam Webster for the last several years has had the habit at the end of the year of

announcing the annual Word of the Year, and this year that word is gaslighting.

Words are important, and Christians understand the importance of words.

Words do not always mean the same thing, and different contexts, words can be malleable,

words can change over time.
