Today we're talking about a few aspects of one big story.

The devastating news out of Afghanistan yesterday that 13 U.S. service members and at least

60 Afghans were killed in two bombing attacks outside the Kabul airport.

The attack has already been claimed by ISIS-K, aka ISIS-Korasan, aka an offshoot of ISIS,

made up of former Pakistani Taliban.

Now you know.

President Biden spoke from the White House after the attack, saying that he has ordered U.S.

commanders to develop operational plans to strike ISIS-K assets, leadership, and facilities.

And you thought the war on terror was over.

Republicans have wasted no time slamming President Biden for the attacks with Senate Minority

Leader Mitch McConnell, grown, calling the attacks the clearest possible reminder that

terrorists will not stop fighting the United States just because politicians grow tired

of fighting them.

In the House, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called for a vote to officially delay the Afghan

withdrawal, while Senators Josh Hawley and Marsha Blackburn took it all the way to Crazy

Town by calling for the President's resignation.

Isn't that the guy who fist bumped Capitol rioters and the lady who's always beefing

with Taylor Swift?

It all makes sense now.
