The major storyline we're all following leading up to training camp is Will Aaron Rogers continue his storied career in Green Bay?

You've heard from voices like Hall of Fame QB is Terry Bradshaw and Brett Farg.

We think the two sides won't be able to continue this successful partnership.

But Rogers' former teammate, John Coon, has more, let's just say, positive outlook.

Coon telling CBS Sports Radio, he doesn't think the relationship is beyond repair.

And thinks Rogers and Packers' Jam, Brian Goudicunes, are going to have to meet in the

middle somewhere.

They're both happy.

Staying in the NFC North now, Kirk Cousins, has some new company in the Vikings'

quarterbacks room, former Texas A&M star, Callan Mond,

Minnesota making him the second pick of the third round last week. But Vice General Manager

Rick Spielman says there is no question, Cousins, is their quarterback? And they're looking

to create competition behind Cousins on the depth chart. Minnesota also has Jake Browning and Nate Stanley on the roster.

Meantime, across the division, the Lions are building up their offensive line.

They signed Center Frank Ragnow to a four-year extension worth $13.5 million,

making him the highest paid center in the NFL.

Detroit also remembered drafted tackle Pena Soule with the seventh pick. This has to make new Lions quarterback Jared Gawfield pretty, pretty good. Yeah, fired up. Fired up. When I saw we took Penae, I know the staff was fired up, and so was I obviously as a quarterback. Anytime you get help up front, that's always good. But yeah, we've got a lot of solid guys up there right now, and I think it's shaping up to hopefully be one of the top groups in the league. There's obviously a lot of work to do, and I know they know that, but there's a lot of good players up there right now. And as a quarterback, that's your best friend. So I'm excited for it. Jimmy Garoppolo was once Tom Brady's era parent before New England traded Jimmy G to San Francisco back in the 2017 season.
