Well, heading into Super Bowl 55, much was made about Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes'

Turptoe injury.

He said it didn't factor into his play, and Mahomes did have successful surgery on it this week. But his counterpart from Super Bowl Sunday was also playing a bit banged up. Tom Brady is scheduled to have minor surgery on his knee. He played most of 2020 with discomfort in the knee, according to NFL networks Tom Palacero.

Also, Tom is reporting the Seahawks have been receiving calls regarding the availability of their signal call Russell Wilson.

Wilson made headlines this week after these remarks on being sacked 47 times this season.

You know, you never want to get hit.

As has any, you know, quarterback who wants to play this game.

And I think, but at the same time, you know, it's part of the job and everything else. I think that the reality is that, you know, I've definitely been hit, you know, in sacked on almost 400 times, you know, and so we gotta get better. I got to find ways to get better too.

I'm frustrated getting hit too much.

Staying in the Seahawks division, the Rams are expected to acquire quarterback Matthew Stafford from the Lions when the new league year in the free agency period kicks off March 17th.

In a recent interview, Stafford revealing he played through multiple injuries to his right thumb, left elbow, ribs, left knee, and right ankle.
