More fallout in crypto, coinbase, circle, Paxos, crypto.com, bit stamp, Cebo, and Gemini

have all suspended business operations with Silvergate at this point, which you'll

recall reported being, quote, less than well capitalized, which is not what you want to hear

from a bank quoting Coin Desk. Silvergate announced Wednesday it would delay filing its annual 10-K filing

due to needing to answer requests from its independent auditors and accounting firm

as well as quote regulatory and other inquiries and investigations that are

pending end quote the bank warned in a forward-looking statement that it face

possible inquiries from bank regulators and the US Department of Justice and its

ability to quote continue as a going

concern over the next year may be affected.
