I think the document leaks have had a tremendous effect on the public's understanding of the

war in Ukraine.

They clearly seem to have agitated Ukrainian President Zelensky.

For months, Shane Harris, the Washington Post National Security Reporter, has been reporting

on intelligence leaks that have really rattled some world leaders.

These are the discord leaks.

We know about them because, according to the federal government, a 21-year-old air national

guardsman named Jack Tashara had been leaking highly classified intelligence documents

to a private online chatroom to an audience of mostly teenagers.

I've just never seen someone sharing documents with a small group of people basically as a

flex, you know, as a way to try and kind of like develop some street cred with them or something.

These leaks that were intended for a small private chatroom have drawn international attention

in large part because of what they say about US intel around the globe, especially the

war in Ukraine.

We're getting this fascinating look behind the curtain at how the United States thinks

the war is going for the Ukrainians and the Russians.
