Welcome to the Girl On Top, Shallon Exo podcast. I'm your host, Shallon Lester, and you

0:08.2

might know me from my YouTube channel, where I analyze select relationships and

0:12.2

scandals for the lessons we can take into our own lives. But here on the podcast, I

0:16.5

answer the best questions you submitted over the past week.

Welcome back to the podcast, Shallagators. This week, we're going to talk about the

0:28.1

bizarre concept. And I feel like the last few weeks, we've talked about a bizarre

0:31.8

1:16.0

want to be. There's some sort of admiration component there. When I look back on

1:21.1

my hurtlockers, it was guys who embodied everything that at the time I did

1:26.6

not. They were humble, hard-working. I've never been humble a day in my life for

1:30.8

God's sakes, right? It's just really not me. They were Canadian, so they had this

1:34.7

sort of wholesomeness that, again, really isn't my brand. I really admired those

1:39.9

qualities, and I didn't know how else to kind of express it. So it's like I

1:43.9

wanted to stand in their light and sort of absorb their glory through osmosis.
