bizarre concept. And I feel like the last few weeks, we've talked about a bizarre

concept, which was, high self-esteem and low self-worth. But this week, we're

switching gears. We're going to talk about hurtlockers, but when they're females.

Now, if you're new here and you don't know what a hurtlocker is, a hurtlocker is

the name we give to someone in whom we store our hurts. Like our ego wounds, the

things we want from the future, and typically a hurtlocker is a guy. Like that X, you

cannot forget this person you basically imprinted on during, and this is the

important part, a not great time in your life. And typically a hurtlocker isn't

always someone we want to date, although we process these intense feelings and

they sort of spit out that way. Like I love you. A lot of times there's someone we

want to be. There's some sort of admiration component there. When I look back on

my hurtlockers, it was guys who embodied everything that at the time I did

not. They were humble, hard-working. I've never been humble a day in my life for

God's sakes, right? It's just really not me. They were Canadian, so they had this

sort of wholesomeness that, again, really isn't my brand. I really admired those

qualities, and I didn't know how else to kind of express it. So it's like I

wanted to stand in their light and sort of absorb their glory through osmosis.
