We might have some scratchy voices from yelling and hanging out and doing activities. But I'm joined by Steve Vanderhook and Hanna Bergman. We're going to be talking about free riding. We also have Dario de Julio, Stefan Pelletier. So yeah, the free ride theme podcast.

Whistler is kind of the, been one of the hubs of free riding or versions of it, whether it's slope style or a lot of movie segments filmed around here or out in the woods around this area. So we're just kind of kind of talk about wide ranging conversation of everything from how you guys got into free riding and what you're doing now, risks, rewards, all kinds of stuff. It's going to be a good conversation. So you probably kick things off. You've been on the podcast before, Steve, but Hannah hasn't. So maybe we'll let Hannah just do a quick intro for the two people listening that haven't heard of you and where you, kind of how you got to where you are now. So you're, yeah, why don't you take it away from that. I'm Hannah Bergman. I grew up in Hood River, Oregon, but now I live in Bellingham, Washington, not too far from here.

I didn't really start biking until I was like 18, like in high school. And that was when I moved to

Bellingham for college, and I got distracted by bikes. And. And not much has changed since then. I've just been biking and now I'm doing it full time. I consider myself a professional freerider. But yeah, I've kind of done a lot of different types of riding and I like all types of riding. Yeah, we'll dig in a little more, but you recently completed Hardline, Red Bull Hardline in Wales,

and you have an invite came in the mail to Red Bull Rampage. We'll see at Rampage this year. That's awesome. Do you actually get like a thing in the mail? For a rampage? Yeah. No, you get an email. But you have to, it's like a whole process. You have to like submit an application and see. I just figured maybe there'd be like some pomp and circumstance.

Like Hardline, they had all these cool shwag. I couldn't really like bit all of it in my bike back on the way home. Yeah, they always give you these, like, massive coats, like the...

Like a swimmer's thing, like a warm thing?

Yeah, they're like super insulated and massive because it's in whales and it rains every day,

so they have to, like, give you the super fancy coat so you can be ready for the whales weather.

I can't believe you started riding when you're 18.

Yeah.

You are one of the most talented people I've ever rid of. That's insane. Thank you. When did you start riding? 18. No. I was like two. There's footage of me strapped to my dad's motorcycle and bike physically strapped as a young kid. So I should be better at biking.

I mean, you're pretty good.
