Brian Park. We also have Dylan Howes and Dave Knoff. They're from Trek and they're here to talk

about the brand new Fuel EX and some other versions of the fuel, the multimodal platform. That sounds fancy,

but it's basically one bike that you can turn into different other bikes. And we're going to chat with them about how this thing came to be, how it's different

from previous fuel, X's, and all the things you can do with it, what it takes to make

multiple bikes out of one bike. Welcome to the podcast.

Let's start with who you guys are and what you do at Trek.

Dylan, what's your background and what's your role?

I am one of the senior mountain bike engineers here at Trek.

I've been here a good long while.

Dave and I both have. How long? I've been here a good long while. Dave and I both have.

How long?

I hit 21 years this year.

Wow.

A good long while.

Yeah, that qualifies.

So I've managed to have my hand in every fuel EX we've ever done in some form.

What's the best and the worst bike project you've ever worked on in that 21 years?

Favorite is a tie for me, and there's still the two i love working on the most and that would be fuels

and sessions uh least favorite they've been a couple stinkers over the years uh there's been a couple
