in spite of the fact that you will fail again and again and again and again in your Christian walk and be an imperfect

person to the day you die, you can walk daily into the presence of God clean.

Notice first the word therefore at the beginning of the text.

Therefore, since we have boldness to enter, you know that every time you see a therefore,

it is pointing you back earlier to a foundation from which a conclusion is now going to be drawn.

Now, we know what the conclusion is.

It's in verse 22.

Therefore, draw near to God.

And we should ask, wherefore?

Let's just go back and look at 14, maybe, in 17.

14.

You have been perfected for all time by a single sacrifice.

You who are being sanctified.

Therefore, draw near to God.
