Now this is important for getting out of bed tomorrow morning and knowing what you're here for.

Because what it says is this.

After you've got your heart, according to verse 23, fill and strengthened with hope.

Because God is faithful to his promises to you.

Then the next step is study people.

Two weeks ago, we worked our way through the previous verses and saw that we are to draw near to God

in full assurance of faith and to have our consciences cleansed by the blood of Christ

and now we come to some very practical admonitions.

Verse 23, let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering.

For he who promised is faithful.

And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking

our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all

the more as you see the day drawing near.
