So here we are once again at the start of yet another month with not much prospect of

salvation on the holiday horizon.

While much of the country was soaked in torrential rain over the weekend, some of us were

trying desperately to work out if anything was possible regarding going absolutely anywhere.

Now some Tory MPs are kicking off about what is likely to happen next

when the government decides to make life even more difficult for hardworking families to get away.

Because we're being told right now that it looks like Spain is going to be put on the Amber Plus list.

It looks like Greece is going to be put into the danger zone in some way.

It's almost as if they don't really want you to go anywhere until the school holidays come to an end.
