This is the sound of second impeachment day, or one of the days of the second impeachment.

I was driving to Greensboro to see my friend Rose make soup in the Greensboro Church kitchen.

Rose and her husband Justin are vaudeville performers and they make traditional punch and

Judy shows mostly about modern life in Vermont.

Their theater companies called Modern Times Theater.

During COVID, they did street shows until it got too cold.

And a few months ago, Rose and some friends decided to start making free

food on Wednesday nights to give out in front of the East Hardwick Grange Hall.

A lot of people around here are making and delivering food to their neighbors during COVID.

But Rose isn't making food because of COVID.

I mean, that's part of it.

But I think the bigger reason is she wants to see what will happen.

Who will come and get the food and what will it be like when they come to get the food?

And if there's a bunch of really different kinds of people who come and get the food, what will they all talk about in front of the Grange Hall?

It's kind of like a combination of science, private. What will they all talk about in front of the Grange Hall?

It's kind of like a combination of science project and putting on a show,

which is one reason why I really like Rose and why I wanted to watch her make soup.

This was her fourth week of doing it and I asked her how people reacted when they came up for the first time.

The first couple of times of people have come up like the first time they approach is tentative.
