So it's important to note that Rich and I recorded this episode of Have Kids, they said, a day before the tragedy in Texas.

And so while we thought about possibly not even putting the episode out because it's just such a horrific week.

We feel like it might be nice for people to have a respite from all of the horrible news that has

been happening.

I don't know what that word means. What? Respite?

Respite is like a break. I, you know what, I'm saying a word that I might not even know to be

completely honest. It's possible. But hey, listen, I'm, on brand. I'm, I'm, you you know me I try to use comedy to deflect sadness I was crying about yesterday and I think every parents that listens can't even imagine what those people are going through.

So, hey, just like I said, note our light-heartedness

was, you know, previously recorded before all the tragedy.

In fact, on this episode, we actually cover the topic of children dealing with death.

Right and the idea of it and the confusion about it which might be an important listen especially after all of this and you know

talking to your families and your children about you know tragedies like this it's not

an easy thing to do but again reminding you that we did record this prior to this horrific thing happening.
