Hi everyone. Welcome to episode 42 of the Let's Talk Yoga podcast. I wanted to do something a little

different on the show today. This past month has been so amazing, at least on the workfront,

so many positives. For example, the mindful yoga teachers club launched. The 300-hour training modules are going on.

My studio has reopened for in-person classes as well. The sun is shining in Seattle,

and that's always a good thing. And there are so many new trainings that are being worked on

behind the scenes. But behind it all, it's been a little

challenging to not think of what's happening in India. And it's, it's been really a sobering

moment and witnessing us here in the US getting more and more freedom to freedom to move and do things. And then, of course,

you know, my dad's alone in India. And not being able to get to him, it has been challenging.

We were hoping that we were turning a corner with this pandemic and that I would get to see him

and all the other people

that I call family back home. But it's just, it's been painful. I also wanted to really thank all

of you for showing up for India and doing all that you have been trying to do. It really warms my

heart when I think of it. So thank you for your time, your effort and your

dedication to do this. And that kind of prompted me to do something a little different on the show.

I got this idea while putting together the finishing touches of my Pranayama immersion and

teacher training that begins soon. And it kind of almost begins quite literally a few

days after this episode is scheduled to drop but I want to celebrate and honor our ability to breathe

it's come into focus so much since last May and probably since last March since the pandemic started.
