Welcome into today's show.

It is Brown's Film Breakdown Monday, March 16th now.

And I come to you guys with limited information because we did a pot over the weekend

that we recorded relatively early Saturday, kind of around lunchtime, covered you on

everything we heard, at least up to that point, a very busy free agency week,

like one of the busiest of the year from like start to end. And that went through Monday through

Friday. The weekend gets quiet. Now, I think there will be more signings. As you know,

plenty of veteran talent still out there kind of in that, you know, end of career type like guys accepting who have made money,

probably a lot of them have had second, third contracts, accepting that they're no longer viewed

by the league as premier players and are kind of maybe trying to hold out or even

trying to hold out until after the draft, which is always possible for some of these guys who

feel compelled to wait and have the financial means to wait.

So some of these guys, obviously we are left in the dark about Joel Betonio.

Obviously, we're left in the dark, you know, kind of kind of both ways about what he's going to do.

Could he come back? We know the dead cap thing is alive. Now, the funny thing is we saw Dallas Goddard handle this situation, getting a contract done for a year to avoid the dead cap, not entirely the same because there was

no fear. Goddard would step away from the league like we do maybe Betonio here, but he signed a

really the biggest piece of NFL news here on Sunday is a one year $7 million contract
