ABC's The Good Doctor, a show about a young autistic surgeon

for which Heimora already has received a best actor in a drama series Golden Globe

nomination and may well be on his way to his first

Emmy nomination as well. The 26 year old as you'll probably recall first made his

name as a child actor who held his own opposite Johnny Depp in back-to-back films, 2004's Finding Neverland,

for which Heimor received a Best Supporting Actor's SAG nomination at the age of just 13,

and 2005's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

A few years later he returned to the spotlight on TV,

earning raves and three critics choice nominations for Best Actor in a Drama Series

in 2014, 2015, and 2018 for his portrayal of Norman Bates on A&E's

Bates Motel, a prequel to the film Psycho.

Now with the Good Doctor, which he agreed to do almost immediately after Bates Motel came to an end in 2017,

Heimor is doing perhaps his best work yet, and is certainly reaching his largest audience yet.

as opposed to a rebooted show Roseanne in 13 years since the
