Remind us how investigators came to suspect that something violent and bad had happened at 25

Crumwell Street. Well, I think it's really important to understand that the West family were known to the

police for some time because of concerns around abuse and the children. And so there was already

authorities investigating the West's and particularly speaking to the children. So the concerns

were always present. And what transpired was that the elder, one of the eldest of the Westfield and Heather disappeared.

And Fred being the crafty, convincing individual, he was created a whole story around the disappearance of Heather and how she'd ran off with a female friend,
