GoTon in Alaska

I wasn't here the day Aaron did his recap try to go out and a low punting. I

ended up drawing a

Analogue dotag. I don't even quite recall putting in four, but that's what I drew. So I had one

Day to try to get that done that was

I guess that was the last day of season on the

20th so went out

Got on a couple stocks

Ended up pretty close to a group of analogue which was interesting because

Last year I spent probably and I think it was like nine days total trying to kill a buck on this tag

That drew that took quite a few points and I got out there on Friday

First thing got on a stock ended up 60 yards from a buck that was just standing there with his

He had a group of doves with him and and I only had you know the buck was

They're actually kind of standing in this brush and the doves were behind a bunch of brush and he was standing right there at 60 yards

so I could have shot at him shot him

and

Yeah, but only had a dotag so other than that it was a super windy day this particular area that I was hunting

there's a lot of

Rolling Hills and Oak brush and stuff like that and on occasion they get in that Oak brush and you can get pretty close to him

But after the wind picked up they didn't like hanging out in that in those trees and and Oak brush and stuff

So they just moved out into the flats and they're kind of unapproachable from there
