Welcome back everyone. It is Wednesday September 25th and I just got back from a

Mule Deer Hunt. I have my partner in Cime Frank across the table from me who

came in and helped me pack out and save me because I really don't want to carry that much weight.

Thank you for that Frank. Yeah, what's up? Hello. What this podcast we're gonna just go into my

second trip into the high country. Kind of a unique situation I'd never hunted that late

pie so it was one of those I guess experimental things to see what was left up there with it being

as cold as it was in the vegetation dying. You know them obviously rubbing their air velvet off as

well as the pressure of muzzle loader season. I came in right when muzzle loader season was ending. It

was a bit of an unknown what was going to happen and I ended up getting a deer but it sucked. In fact

I guess I went in Saturday and you were going to come in Monday and I messaged you

Sunday. I said Frank I can't find any deer don't don't come I'll let you know if I find anything

Monday morning and I didn't find shit I found a fork and horn or a doe. I think I

messaged you that didn't I yeah I found two forks and three doe's and then what probably

few hours later I sent you a photo of those bucks coming up over the hill and then it sent you that

and went on that stock but I went in Saturday and

glassed my ass off and was looking for the bigger there's two bigger bucks as looking for big three

by four in a big wide buck and I had missed one of those earlier in the season. Frank and I had

just gotten back from a mountain goat hunt so I loaded up six days of gear and headed in you know

so low with the idea of Frank was going to come give me a hand if needed and I mean what was

here what were your thoughts Frank what you think I was going to see up there because he's

unknown for you to you never went up quite that late. Yeah I figured it'd be something like what

happened I'd actually two or three seasons ago I went up with Yeti Dave to a close by unit he had
