Welcome back to another episode of the Adam Schaefter podcast.

wild card matchups this weekend, some really intriguing storylines that will go over.

But the big news story of the week comes from Cleveland, and it is the latest cases of COVID

in outbreak that has struck that organization,

which is incredible on so many levels, right? The Cleveland Browns finally make the playoffs for the

first time since 2002. They have not won a playoff game since 1994 when their head coach was Bill Belichick and they beat the New

England Patriots in a wild car game in 1994. And now Cleveland is going back to the playoffs for

the first time in almost two decades and they're now going to do it without their head coach,

without their defensive backs coach Jeff Howard, without their defensive backs coach, Jeff Howard,

without their tight ends coach, Drew Petzing, without two players,

Joel Betonial, their Pro Bull Guard, and their wide receiver, Cotterill Hodge.

Amazing. And that is, by the way, right now,

who knows who else is going to be placed on the reserve COVID list on a team that has struggled to contain this virus for the last few weeks on a team that lost

all its wide receivers before it played the New York Jets in a game it lost when it was trying to

clinch a playoff spot. The Cleveland Browns, a team that everybody, most everybody, is happy to see back in the postseason,

is now battling one of the biggest COVID challenges of the NFL season.

Now, my understanding is this game is going to be played on Sunday night,

barring any more positive tests.
