Welcome back to another episode of the Adam Schaefter podcast leading into the NFL

Divisional Playoffs.

And to help preview them, we will bring on Monday night football analyst Louis Riddick, the former Browns

defensive back, to talk about his first year in the booth in Monday night football as well as what

a postseason victory means in Cleveland and whether the Browns have any chance of upsetting

the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend. And we'll be joined by the former Browns quarterback himself, Bernie Kozar,

who understands what a playoff win in Cleveland means to that fan base as much as anybody else.

And then we'll be joined by the ESPN analytics guru Evanplan, as he breaks down each of the divisional

playoff matchups this weekend with some incredibly interesting storylines. And as we start the

divisional playoffs, some teams are in the throes of the playoff hunt and other teams are in the

throws of a search for a new head coach and or general manager.

And the interesting part is the head coach, as difficult as that is, it's even harder to hire

a general manager in the NFL.

And here's the reason I say that.

And talking to some executives this week, what's interesting is when they speak to the hey

coaches, they see their decisions on the field.

They see their weekly, daily, regular press conferences with the media.

Coaches have personas that owners and executives know by the time they get to interview them.

So, for instance, if Robert Sala is going to interview with the Detroit Lions or Atlanta Falcons or New York Jets,

they've seen how his defense and unit performs.

They've watched him in press conferences.

They understand what it takes.
