Inca Empire. Last time, we saw Diego de Almagro head off to Chile in search of fame and fortune,

followed by an uprising of the Inca led by Emperor Manco. The Inca nearly overran Cusco,

but in the end, the Spanish had survived after a bitter and

intense fight. One of the Pizarro brothers, Juan, had been killed, but the capture of the fortress

of Saxe Waman had eased the plight of the Spanish, although the situation was still perilous.
