We're here for the grassroots and all the muddy boots. From schools to stadiums, we're here for it all.

Barclays, here for every goal. Throughout the Middle East, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, none of these countries can even sustain a state because they're all consumed by local

ethnic religious tribal identities.

And this is a problem that East Asia just has not had to worry about it in several centuries.

And now the good fight with Yasha Monk. In my spiel at the beginning of the last podcast I talked about some of the changes which I think will not happen after this pandemic.

I argued that we will not stop having a social life,

but there will still be plenty of restaurants and bars and parties in the months and years after we have finally gotten this pandemic under control and I also

expressed some skepticism about the extent to which it will, for example, stop or reduce the course of

globalization. Today I want to do something different, which is to talk about some of the changes

which will happen.

Basically, it seems to me that it makes sense to think of them

as falling into three basic categories.

The first category is small yet significant changes.

So it will likely be true that some essential goods are now produced at home rather than abroad that will alter the nature of

globalization even if it will not stop or reverse it. The second is the

acceleration and the acceleration of existing trends.
