This is TBSI and the world. I'm John Bachelor visiting with Simon Constable, my colleague

he's in the south of France, writing for Wall Street Journal and Barons and other distinguished

publications, and he's posted a profile of a young man who's gaining much attention because

of the politics of the moment. President McCrown, after the EU vote, decided to call a snap election.

That's what it's called back in Britain.

This is just an election he can call as president. The first round is June 30th

coming up very quickly as Sunday. The second round is July 7th because there are

requirements to have 50 percent., the polling now indicates that the National Rally, a party

led by Marine Le Penh identified as far right, National Rally is well ahead in the polling for the French

legislature and when and if the National Rally is successful we need to

understand the prime ministers, the likely prime ministers named Jordan

Bardella, and Simon has a piece about him at Fox News. Simon introduced Jordan Bardella. How old is he? Where does he come from? What are his roots?

This is very interesting, a very interesting young man. He's very young. He's 28 years old. He grew up from Italian immigrants in Paris. They later divorced. He went, he did very well at school, at high school in Paris.

He then went on to the Sorbonne,

which is the top university in the whole of France. He then dropped out in favor of politics and has continued to do that and now here he is being this leader of this parliamentary drive.

Now remember there's a parliament and then

there's president, the parliament is as a prime minister

and he's aiming to get that prime ministersorship and then you have the president which is

Macron. Now what's interesting here is what's really brought him up on this

this really fantastic search for the national rally, which is that you've got a very different

party than what it was when it was formed in the early 1970s by Jean-Marie

Le Penh, where it was anti-Semitic and not a very nice populist organization.
