This is a CBS I in the world. I'm John Batcheter. To the south of France, to my good colleagues Simon Constable, who's been traveling. Right now he comes back to a report on the climate

in Paradise and the trend in commodities worldwide. I note one commodity more than any

other is confounding with oiled down despite the wars in

Europe.

How?

Simon, the climate is last days of summer in America. How is it in the South of France? Good day to you.

Good day to you, John. Well, the South of France, up until about a day and a half ago,

it was very hot. It was, you know, up near 90 degrees and in some cases a bit above that and then we had a massive

downpour across the entire country basically including the south of France and that that downpour also brought

temperatures down so today we've had we've had a low in the in the low 50s and now we're up into the high 60s. So clearly

autumn is here. It's not freezing, but it's certainly not what it was a few days

ago and I doubt very much we'll be seeing those 90 degree spells again for a long

while.

You've been traveling Simon.

You went to the Mediterranean to a village that I did not know existed until you bring it to my attention.

Clure, I mangled the French pronunciation.

What did you find there, Simon, and was it it was the Mediterranean comfortable to swim in?

The Mediterranean was delightful to swim in.

It's crystal clear down in collier.

If it's on the the Western end of the Mediterranean and it's really quite close to

Spain and there's a lot of Catalan influence there from across the Spain.

But border is very interesting, very clear, very nice to go into that water.
