We're here to recap Tuesday's news and notes for the diamond and get you ready for Wednesday.

And Tuesday's news and notes are massive as it was the trade deadline finale and it was a doozy. So let's get rock and

rolling through all of the news and notes from the day. One of the big moves of the day,

Jack Flaherty traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. People were speculated on this and at the very

last minute the trade went through.

Dodgers landed their starting pitcher they've been looking for in Jack Flaherty.

Flaherty could start this weekend versus the A's, according to Dave Roberts.

The Tigers received minor leaguer Thiron Lorenzo and minor league shortstop Trey Sweeney in the deal.

There were reports, though, that like the Yankees backed out because they weren't worried about medicals.

According to some, this was a lighter return than other pitchers like Trevor Rogers

and you say Kikuchi.

So it's interesting to see our Tyler, or, yeah, Trevor Rogers.

So it'll be interesting to see how Flaherty goes here, but he fits it beautifully, LA

guy.

So it should be a lot of fun. And as you guys will know, not a prospect guy.

So I'm going to go right over most of these minor leaders.
