Let's dive into everything baseball related from Sunday, June 8th.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news, and notes from around the league, beginning things with the bad news.

The starting pitcher Zebby Matthews was placed on the 15-day IL with a shoulder strain.

He's coming off his first big league win.

The positive vibes were short-lived coming off that start.

And the twins' rotation has been absolutely decimated by injuries over the past couple of days

with Pablo Lopez having been ruled out for eight to 12 weeks with an injury of his own.

So with Matthews out, it looks like starting pitcher,

Simeon Woods Richardson is going to be called up.

He was scratched from his scheduled start in the minor leagues. So he looks like he's going to be called up. He was scratched from his scheduled start in the minor leagues.

So he looks like he's going to be called up to replace Matthews in the rotation.

And in a corresponding move, really pitcher Danny Kulam was activated from the 15-day IL and

will re-enter the Twins bullpen.

In terms of transactions outfielder John Kenzie Noel was optioned to the miners

by the Guardians. He's really struggled this season batting 146 with just a pair of homers and a 4 WRC plus.
