I'm Jessica Brozenthol, this is the Fox News rundown extra. For this one

we're sharing a segment recently done for a Fox News radio special on

cybersecurity. We figured it's the holiday season, many of us used our credit cards

to buy things at major companies. Those companies can be hacked and often are.

But as technology evolves, what is being done to better protect our data and what

should lawmakers do if anything to help? We spoke with two data breach experts for

this segment and you can hear them now on the Fox News rundown extra.

Capital one urgent warning to about a hundred million customers about a

data breach affecting more than a hundred million Americans in some cases. million Facebook, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Yahoo, First American Financial, the U.S. Army,

Hyatt, Walgreens, Citigroup, Verizon, the list goes on and on and on of companies hit with data breaches from health care to

finance to social media to government to military no aspect of life is spared and

the most coveted companies or agencies to a hacker are the ones with the most

vulnerable data.

And who do they affect?

Well us, even technologists and cyber experts aren't exempt.
