suicide lifeline. The executive director of that lifeline says it'll save people's lives.

They would get a different response than having the police or an ambulance show up to their home.

They would have a caring person who was trained to assist them and help you feel better.

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and rates have been rising over the last 20 years, especially since 2006.

In an effort to make it easier for suicidal people to get help, under the direction of Congress. This month the Federal Communications

Commission unanimously approved setting aside 988 as a national phone number for suicide prevention

calls, like calling 911 for other emergencies. Those calls currently through a call is Dr. John Draper. Research has shown that the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline,

which is a national network of local crisis centers,
