Man, this time of year we get a lot of questions about gear and guys having questions about what kind of gear should they get and what should they be looking for

this spring and what can they add to their spreads. You know and waterfall hunting

in general is a gear intensive sport we all get that and it can be very expensive they kind of get all the different stuff that you want and that you need

But there are ways to go about it being a little more cost effective and a lot of that just really involves patients you know

kind of looking around seeing what's out there and buying your time and making

purchases at the right time so you can maximize the value and the discount deals.

Today we're going to talk a little bit about some of the ways to go about that and some of the resources that are out there for you to utilize.

One of my favorite places to buy any kind of waterfowl hunting gear, decoys, blinds, all of that kind of stuff is Roger's sporting goods.

Typically, they're five to ten dollars cheaper on almost every single product that you're

going to look at compared to a lot of the other online retailers that you're going to find out out there.

They send out periodic flyers, so they do run discount deals in addition to their normal lower

Roger Sporting Goods is a great outlet for you to check out and

kind of watch for deals if you got something specific on your mind. Another area you can check,

they're looking to move, maybe they're looking to upgrade or they're

getting out of hunting altogether. A lot of guys will put their stuff out there and you can
