Hi there. My name is Ryan and I make music under the name Sleeping At Last. And this podcast is where

0:06.3

I have the incredible privilege of getting to share with you how each of the songs that I'm writing

0:11.2

get made. And I get a chance to tell you why I recorded what I recorded, why I wrote what I wrote,

0:16.1

and the meaning and heart behind every lyric and every choice that I'm making in each of these

0:21.2

songs. So really it's the how a song starts from nothing and becomes something. Technically,

0:27.5

music is invisible. So I guess it's still kind of nothing. But anyway, I'm so excited to get to

0:33.6

talk to you guys today because it marks the the the release date or I like to consider it the birth

0:39.7

date of my brand new song 4. 4 was of course inspired by the the any gram type 4. And if you are

0:47.6

unfamiliar, I am currently in the middle of a project in which I am writing nine songs inspired

0:52.9

by the nine beautifully unique any gram types. And I'm so excited to show you guys the song today

1:03.7

and to tell you how it got made. I truly can't believe that not only are you guys kind enough to

1:09.3

listen to my songs, but that you'd be curious at all that to hear how these songs became songs. So

1:15.3

thank you. Thank you so much for choosing to listen. If you've listened to the previous episodes

1:22.4

in particular the the episodes that I detail the the making of my any gram type 1 and type 2 and

1:29.2

type 3 songs that are currently available, you should already be familiar with my my dear friend

1:34.2

Chris Hewertz who is basically this podcast resident any gram expert. I'm so honored to have him

1:41.2

speak with us today about the any gram type 4s and so Chris thank you so much for for being

1:46.9

willing to share your insights with us again. Thanks so much for having me Ryan. It's been

1:51.8

really great being a part of these conversations and I really actually want to

1:57.2

affirm you and what you're doing because I think what you've essentially uncovered with the process

2:03.6

of these songs is a rewind to what the any gram was was originally sort of reclaimed for. You know

2:11.2

102 years ago when George Gersief rediscovered let's say the any gram he rediscovered this as a
