| 0:00.0 | All right, man, welcome back. Today we're going to be talking about the four financial lessons that I think all men should learn in their 20s. |
| 0:06.8 | Recently, I had a friend of mine ask me what I was going to teach my son about finances because my boy is almost two years old. |
| 0:14.4 | And we've just been having a lot of conversations with the men in my life because a couple of them have kids. |
| 0:19.0 | You know, what are we going to teach them about drugs and women and finances and the world and how do we impart some of the knowledge and the |
| 0:27.2 | wisdom that we've gained throughout our lives? How do we teach them these things? And so this |
| 0:31.6 | question about finances came up and I realized that I had been taught almost nothing as a child |
| 0:37.1 | about financial independence. |
| 0:39.7 | And I've learned a lot over the years. I've learned a tremendous amount. I at one point was very |

| 1:26.1 | you as a man how to be financially successful. |
| 1:29.1 | You know, if you look at the education system, it teaches you almost nothing about |
| 1:33.3 | economics, about personal finances, about taxes outside of the fact that they just exist. |
| 1:40.9 | They don't teach you how to be successful with them in any way, shape, or form. |
| 1:45.2 | And so I realized that in many different ways, it is our responsibility to learn these things. |
| 1:51.4 | You know, if we haven't been taught them, myself, this was really something that I struggled with |
| 1:56.4 | because I didn't feel proficient with finances, I just avoided them all together, right? |
