And we just got done recording a fun pod about the in-season tournament in general. Lakers came away as champions. And we're going to dive into the specifics of the basketball of both that

championship game, but also kind of how it projects going forward. Now, Darius in the last

pod was talking about how the game plan and the title game in particular was more team-specific

on both ends of the court than it can be in a lot of regular season games.

That's absolutely the case.

Lakers score 123 points somehow on two threes.

Both the spirits of Mike Trudell and Byron Scott in the studio were full of joy and happiness

watching that.

They score 86 points in the paint, something like that.

That was the offensive

end, which we can get into, and I think we will more. But the last couple weeks of the pod,

we've really been focusing on the Lakers defense. And so I do want to start there as the Pacers

came into that game with a historic offense on paper D. And with Halliburton coming in with like 28 assists and

zero turnovers in the previous two games, he had two turnovers in the first like two minutes
