Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. It's time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God and I find myself needing this just as much as you do every day.

I woke up this morning and the first thought in my mind was,

ugh, I have to record the morning mindset.

And my friends understand understand, it's not a drag for me to do.

It's something I love to do, but in those moments of sleepiness when you're first wanting

to, when you're first getting out of bed and you're wanting to stay in bed, you know,

our enemy throws everything at us that he can to keep us from being productive for the

Lord's sake and to keep us from really connecting with the

Lord himself because that's our life blood.

And he does it to me too.

I need these morning mindsets.

Once I sat down and I got looking at the scriptures this morning, it just

put me in a place where man I'm ready to go. I'm ready to talk about these things

because they are life and they are truth for me and that leads us to our passage for today. That's

Proverbs 19 verse 23. And it says the fear of the Lord leads to life and

whoever has it rests satisfied. He will not be visited by harm.

Now of course that's a he or a she. Now this verse is loaded. This verse has a lot in it that we need to be careful

to understand correctly because it can sound on the surface like this verse is promising us, a life free from trouble. Let's read it again.

The fear of the Lord leads to life and whoever has it, it being the fear of the Lord, rests satisfied. He will not be

visited by harm. Now it does sound like he's just saying if you fear the Lord God will protect you from everything

that could bring harm to you. But my friends there is a way in which this verse

builds upon itself that we need to pay attention to.
