Summary

Fortune and the Beggar is a story about wanting too much and not being happy with what you have. A Beggar meets Fortune on the street and she gives him as much gold as his purse will hold. The Beggar is greedy though and keeps asking for just a bit more until he purse breaks and he is left with nothing again.

One day a ragged beggar was creeping along from house to house.
