This is Holy Family School of Faith.

So welcome to our Rosary Meditation. It is a great joy to be rose, to be doing rosary on the road.

I am with my Anne and David Sell and team part of team 10, a of team 10 from Christ Renews is parish at

St. Michael the Archangel and we've been having good conversation and now we are going to

pray the rosary together so let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for. I want to continue to entrust to your prayer and to the intercession of Pauline Jericho

for the end of the seizure clusters for little Olivia, for her complete healing,

because I'd sure love to see Pauline Jericho become a saint

since she founded the Living Rosary Movement,

much like this movement that we've been living and spreading here in Kansas City.

And beyond, don't worry, I won't forget you beyond out there in Tabitha in New Zealand

and Callistus in Dubai and Andrew in Spain.

Don't worry, we're not forgetting about you.

So let's pause for a moment and call to mind all of our intentions.

Today we begin to meditate on the virtue of fortitude, of courage, a much-needed virtue for today.

The virtue of fortitude is to do the right thing even amidst hardship. Fortitude enables you to

overcome obstacles, threats, sufferings, difficulties, and fears in the pursuit of good,

both in the big things of life, but also in the everyday ordinary things.

Now the primary fear which fortitude helps us overcome is the fear of death.

Fortitude is the virtue of the soldier willing to give his life to save his people,

but it's also the virtue of the Christian who's willing to sacrifice what is lesser for the

sake of what is greater, and the greatest thing is union with God and heaven.
