Now you were ordained in 2004 for the Archdiocese of DC, but you went on to get a doctorate

in theology from Rome. What year was that? That was 2008 to 2010.

Okay, but before all of this you were in the Navy as well. Right. All right. And so when you came back from Rome

having finished your doctorate, you were placed where, I think it was John Paul the Second Seminary?

Almost. I went for a year to St. Peter's Church on Capitol Hill, where I served as a Prokio vicar.

And then, and then when the seminary was founded in 2011, I became the first Vice Rector

the next year.

And how many years were you there? I've been there now going

into my 14th year. Fourteenth in year. Oh my. I know. And let me just kind of

of insert something because I have it on I have it on good information that 16 priests ordained this year.

We had 16 for the Archdiocese of Washington the biggest since 1960 I think

We're 62 other diocese that could say that. Yeah, no, it was a real blessing and and solid excellent young man really and a couple of older ones actually who came through and we've

been very blessed I mean it goes up and down you know I think next year will be a

little bit lower and and but it's to have the real shot in the arm the infusion of these 16 wonderful priests in the diocese is a tremendous blessing

And you look upon all of them as men that you really helped form a lot of them. Yeah almost all of them went through John Paul II.
