Two former Sheila Jackson Lee staffers go on record to talk about the abuse they endured and witnessed from her

One staffer quit after just 40 days with the final straw being she-jack's treatment of an online representative.

Another former staffer says the experience was nightmarish as she verbally abused him in front of others.

Houston Chronicle says, quote, in spring 1998,

Rianen Burrus, a veteran congressional Burris, sorry, a veteran congressional staff are now in her 70s said she resigned after some 40 days

as Sheila Jackson Lee scheduler and. Burris attributes her brief tenure

to what she characterized as Jackson Lee's unpredictable outburst.

The breaking point, Burris said, came when Jackson Lee's harsh treatment of flight

attendance allegedly led an airline representative to offer alternative flight

options from a competing airline.

Hey, we'll just put you on another plane.

Shortly after the incident, Burris quit.

Burris' short stint with Jackson Lee is not uncommon in the Chronicles analysis of 229 of her former staffers.
