It's Friday evening six o'clock and all my friends are twisting off. I'm at the house just turning on TV

We all wonder why I've changed how many times the stock splain. It's basic honky-tonk and that of me

The drinkin' most connected to the party bomb

The party bomb's connected to the standout all night long

And she won't think it's funny and I wonder about alone

And the lonely bomb's connected to the drinkin' bomb

Hey, two plus two is always four and down

It's south and up is north

And 32 degrees is freezing cold

I am not an evangelizer for not drinking

If you can handle your booze and that's a decision for you, knock yourself out

But I do admire when someone is morbidly obese and cuts back on eating and exercises and gets more sleep and drinks more water and loses weight

I do admire when someone has a bad temper and they get it under control

I do admire when somebody says for whatever reason I'm drinking too much

And I can't handle a little, whether they use the word alcoholic or not

They say I'm not going to drink again

I admire that because it's self-discipline

Self-discipline is noble

We celebrate that more in the Asian cultures than Western culture

But I admire it being married to a woman from India who declared one time ten years ago at dinner

You know what? Starting tomorrow, no meats, no sweets
