for Saturday, starting with three big headlines.

Temps, a genomic testing and data analysis company started by Eric Lefkovsky, who previously founded

Groupon, debuted on the NASDAQ on Friday and rose about 15% on the opening.

The company priced its IPO on Thursday at $37 a piece.

At the top of its $35 to $37 price range, raising nearly $311 million at a fully diluted valuation of over $6 billion.

Tempos's last official private valuation was $8.1 billion, however, and Pitchbook Data estimates that the company was valued at

10.25 billion dollars in late 2022.

Meta has confirmed that it will pause plans to start training its AI systems using data from its

users in the European Union and UK.

The move follows pushback from the Irish Data Protection Commission, DPC, Meta as lead regulator in the EU, which is acting

on behalf of several data protection authorities across the block.
