Welcome to this edition of The Untold Story podcast as we continue to dig in to the murders in Idaho of four university students.

And two weeks in, it seems that the latest development is that they know even less than we thought in many ways. But there's a lot moving in this story. And with that, I'm really

pleased to be joined by Bill Daley, former FBI, who is an expert in these kinds of investigations

and has deep history in this kind of work.

So, Bill, welcome.

Bill, for those who don't know you, I always like to start these deeper dives by you giving us

a little bit of your background so people can understand what you bring to this story

and your own experience with

this kind of investigative work. Sure. Thanks, Martha. And so my career goes back at least four

decades, over four decades. I started with the FBI as a young fellow. And I was quickly put into

one of the specialized photography. We did crime scene work,

bankrupt, he's kidnapping, terrorist bombing. So kind of complicated crime scenes, if you will.

So at a kind of a young age, I was tossed into that arena, enjoyed it very much. And then over

the years, proceeded to do other work within the FBI in special

investigations, special surveillance and other techniques using technical skills. And then after that,
