Earlier this week I stepped up to the mic and delivered what would be my very last all hands ever

And that's because I passed the torch to Austin my co-founder of six years to shepherd Morning Brew in this next chapter of the business

What I'd like to share with you now is a shortened version of the remarks that I gave to our team and as you listen to this I want you to listen with a specific lens

I am very excited to share that effective today I will be moving from my role as CEO of Morning Brew to the role of executive chairman

And Austin my co-founder and partner of six years will be moving from his role as CEO of the business to CEO

I cannot wait for this next chapter of the business and I am more bullish on the future of Morning Brew than ever before

It is truly remarkable how this company has grown over the last 12 months

We've long talked about this transition from newsletter business to media brand

Well that day is here since January 2020 we tripled our headcount to 90 people

We built a besting class senior leadership team

We implemented the entrepreneurial operating system a process for planning the future

We have a portfolio of seven products across newsletter web audio social and events

We built a burgeoning B2B business we've remained profitable while doubling revenue

Morning Brew has never been in a better position and we have attracted a deeply loyal audience more than three million people

What an absolute privilege

But it is during times of evolution and momentum that it is most important to ask ourselves
