Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk TV.

It's Tuesday. We have entered into yet another period of self-examination, and you'll be very unsurprised to hear that I'll be examining an awful lot this morning.

Not least, some of the things that have not only gone wrong in this country, but are actually costing people's lives. And that, I think, is now a

much more serious problem than those that we talk about often here, which is that, you know,

well, you know, the border force doesn't work very well, the NHS isn't really working at all.

The police don't really want to arrest anybody. You know, all the usual complaints that we make. The roads are terrible. You know, the trains don't work. Everybody's on strike. The teachers

are about to walk out on the schoolchildren. The school children are about to walk out on the schools.

We now have a crisis of mammoth proportions, however, because a couple of stories in the papers

this morning. Not least, the telegraph spl splash. Killer posed as a child to claim asylum

and murder again in the United Kingdom. This is a story of an Afghan refugee who came to this

country via Norway where he was refused refugee status and asylum status. He's murdered an aspiring

Royal Marine. He stabbed him to death in a row over an e-scooter in Bournemouth. But it also turns out

that he was a well-known violent criminal. He had murdered twice in Serbia on his way here. And also

because he had posed as a 14-year-old, he was in foster care, living with a family and other

children, going to school, even though he was well over the age of 18 at the time. We've also got

the Metropolitan Police in the firing line again on the front page of the Times, risking

hiring rogue officers because they're only giving them online tests. They don't actually bother

meeting people before they give them jobs in the Metropolitan Police. And finally, the other

massive ignominy, massive terrible story

of a man who was out on parole and should not have been out on parole, should have been

recalled to prison six days before he murdered yet again a young woman in London. We'll bring you
