Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, especially for little

Olivia Caneli, for her complete healing and restoration from the cluster seizures.

And now let's call to mind all of your own intentions.

Today our meditation is provided by Archbishop Naman

and his reflections on forgiveness.

You know I think Mercy is really something that humanly speaking it's not natural for us. It's not natural for us to forgive.

And that's why prayer is so important to get the power to be able to forgive.

We can't do this on our own, especially if we feel we suffered an injustice.

I'm always edified by the powerful testimony of Immaclais Elibigiza, a survivor of the Rwanda genocide who's

spent 90 days locked in a small bathroom with six other women constantly under the threat of being

raped and killed if they were discovered and knowing that our own parents and

two of her brothers were killed during that genocide.

Immaclais survived by praying the rosary.

Her father had given her the rosary to pray, but she knew enough when she came to the Lord's prayer and she came to that

phrase, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, that she couldn't say that she couldn't she was so filled

with anger and so she she decided she would just skip that part of the our father and

she did that for a few days she said and that the Holy Spirit said to her

Immacalay Jesus himself has given us this prayer he doesn't need you to
