Everyone loves a good story and a good storyteller.

But there is no storyteller like the Lord Jesus, and there are no greater stories told than the ones Jesus shared.

In this study, spiritual stories, we consider the parables Jesus told

and their application to us. These are truly the greatest stories ever told, and the Lord

Are you a forgiven person?

If you know the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior, I'm going to tell you, you have been forgiven.

Let me ask a separate question, but yet a connected question.

Are you a forgiving person?

You see, those who have been forgiven are supposed to be forgiving.

Paul would later write that we are to forgive others, even as God for Christ's sake,

hath forgiven you. In other words, harkening back to our last study, what we have received,

we are to relay. We have received truth. We are to give truth. We have received forgiveness.

We are to forgive other people.

And so we come today to one of our Lord's parables in Matthew chapter number 18 that is

deeply convicting. And when you read it, it's easy to get angry, frustrated with the man in the story,

but you must see yourself as the man in the story.

You see, this is not a lens on others.

It's a mirror on us.

It's so easy for us to see the injustice around us and to miss the inequity in our own soul,

to see the wickedness of other people and forget and miss the sinfulness of our own hearts.
