I want to get you guys out this podcast real quick as these guys are out here making cookies and brownies and everything. So if it gets loud, I apologize. I'm at my home office right now, but I'm in here because hopefully I can avoid stuffing my face full of massive amounts of sugar, at least for a few hours, because I know it's going to happen eventually. I'm pretty good until, I'm not getting anything like with sweets or treats or food or pizza or, you know, cookies and french fries and milkshakes, all the shit that, you know, all of us love, you know, at some level deep down. I'm really good. I found I have this ridiculous, amazing willpower to not touch or do anything at all. If it's not open, if I haven't touched, if I haven't started it, but now if I have one cookie, it turns into 14 cookies. So portion control I'm saying is my downfall for sure. Like many people. So again, if I don't touch it or I don't see it or I make them say, hey, I'm not going to eat it today. I'm going to wait until this day or I'm not going to do anything now.

1:28.6

So with that said, that's off topic.

Today's podcast, especially this time of year, it's important all the time.

1:48.7

And I think particularly probably this time of year for a lot of you guys where we're more mindful, life slows down, hopefully for some of you guys at least a little bit.

1:57.4

When you're in places that are outside your normal environment, maybe you reminisce about old memories and you

2:02.2

planning stuff for the future and sharing things with people. Maybe you don't communicate with as much during the year and see as often.

2:09.0

And I dig into this in a chapter of my book, makes success mandatory. And it's exercise 14 in the book for you guys who have read it.

2:16.5

It's called Forgive and Move Forward.

2:18.7

A real basic concept that all of us, you know, we understand it at some point, but we hold on to shit.

2:24.4

Admittedly, I've done it myself.

2:26.6

I've been guilty of it for, you know, more parts of my life than I'd like to admit up front.
