This morning I want to challenge you with an idea, one that just might make your head

explode.

You're going to see conflict in two opposing ideas, but I'm going to do my darns to enlighten

you with the wisdom that lies between the two.

I want you to set goals.

Then release your attachment to ever achieving them.

Yep, you heard me right.

Care about having big goals, but don't care about achieving them.

First off, let me explain why to do this, then I will get to the how to do this, to

cure you of this piercing, cognitive dissidence headache.

So setting goals is a very positive and powerful thing to do.

You know that, I know that, hell, I even wrote the book on it.

It helps you get from where you are to where it is that you want to go.

Goals help you achieve all those things that you desire and concede.

Goals are great, however, the very act of setting those goals makes you instantly unhappy.

Identifying your goals just pointed out all those things that you are not yet and don't

have yet.

Yet, you desire so badly, you just painted the gap, the gap of contrast, the great expense

that stands between where you are right now and your desired happiness.
